Lighthouse Marine Insurance was founded by Captain Joseph Michael Pitisi. Joe has spent most of his life in and around boats and marinas. Joe is uniquely qualified to find you the best marine solution that will protect the investment you have made in your boat and give you the peace of mind that there is someone handling your insurance that is a boat owner himself.
In fact, in addition to being a boat owner like you, Joe has owned and operated several vessels of all types and sizes throughout his life. Joe is a native resident of Long Beach, California and Yacht Club member. He knows the Long Beach waters and marinas like no other. He has sailed many far away places such as the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaiian Islands, Mediterranean and South China Sea. Joe is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Master with a 100 Ton rating, inventor of a certified U.S. Coast Guard safety device, Licensed Marine Instructor, Charter and Transportation Vessel Captain, former Marine Patrol/Harbor Patrol Boat Operator, Long Beach Marina Live aboard and Marina Supervisor, Retired Harbormaster/Marina Supervisor.
